I noticed you get 3 months of free ps plus when you make a JP account. So I believe this is the problem...3 months has passed and I tried to buy the JP version of Dead Nation and I entered in redeem codes so I have way more than enough funds in the account. Whenever, I click proceed to checkout it prompts me to enter a JP credit card/ billing information. I don't live in JP or have a JP credit card. So is there any way I can bypass this or enter in fake info? Thanks!

Also I keep getting this error regardless what game I pick to buy "I can not buy in the current balance of wallet this content. You need a credit card. Doesn't make sense whats the point of a wallet if you can't use it for anything

Try going on your PS3 and see if it still restricts you. If it does, then yeah you might as well find a Japan VCC which that's rare :/

You can buy PS4 games on PS3? I just want the PS4 Japanese version of Dead Nation. I just noticed it says "This game is rated CERO-Z To verify that you are 18 or older, you must use a credit card to purchase this game" I wonder if there's anyway around this since I don't have a JP credit card.

Seems like the PS4 has more restrictions, and I don't think you can buy PS4 games on PS3.
