i7-2630qm (Quad Core)
4 Gb RAM
1 Gb nvidia gt525m

Laptop 2:

i5-2410m (Dual Core)
4 Gb RAM
1 Gb nvidia gt540m

Their prices are similar. Also if i may ask, the seller told me you need at least 6 gb ram to fully utilize the i7-quad cores, he said with 4 gb ram, it is similar speed to the i5-2410. Is that true?

i7 is ALOT faster than i5

i7 has hyper threading also. i5 don't.
