Post: Need a Good PC For Gaming

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm new to gaming on PC, have always used a console (Playstation). I'm not too sure what specs are needed to run current games but I'm sure I need at least 3GB of Ram, and my current PC only has 1.5GB.

I'm doing my research but I'm sure most of you can answer my questions.

I looking for a Desktop PC. Please tell me what good specs are, and what a good video card is because the one I have now is sh*t.

OR, post a link to a good one to buy. Looking for something around $400 if possible.

Thanks!

I'm gonna be buying 2 of You must login or register to view this content. for my new computer. One of them should run games on pretty high quality, just you need a good processor to go along with it. And then when you do that stuff.. you need a new motherboard. just make a new computer..

David.
Do a barrel roll!
Always a problem when you buy computers from these sort of companies. They always give you outdated equipment. I.e, outdated motherboards that sometimes don't even have PCIe x16 slot. Your processor socket is AM2 and we are now on to AM3 with AMDs latest Phenom II chips. So you would practically need a whole new computer.

Technology doubles each year. You may have purchased a good computer then, but four years later, it's 1/8th as good as it was, now.
