** Use this at your own risk**

1. You must be using FireFox
2. Once your on FireFox, download an addon for Firefox called tamper data. (You must login or register to view this content.)
3. Install it and restart Firefox
4. Go to a website that uses Paypal and the "pay now" thing.
5. Click the pay now thing. It should bring up paypal. Sign in and when it says confirm payment, open up tamper data and change the amount from whatever it is to 0.01 cents.
6. Some sites this is blocked.

No, if they look they can see that you're paying $0.01 so trying to do this to something with a low volume of customers or someplace that personally checks orders/payment may not be advised.

Also, a coworker of mine tells me that it does work on rapidshare.

Sometimes this is also just client side as well and you'll be charged the whole amount when it shows that you only paid one cent.
