(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok, so i got my cousin living with me, i gave him the pass code so he could use my internet, but as weeks go by, i realise that he was downloading big files, like atleast 1GB a day, and i'm always getting capped halfway through the month, is there any possibly way i can disconnect my cousin internet connection, and then change my internet password, and then re-connect my computer, laptop and ps3, connect them to the internet again?? without my cousin knowing that i disconnected him, so like, from my computer or route?? cause i wanna disconnect him, so he would stop using my internet, and besides, his living with my family and yet his doing nothing to help, ever since he got our internet password, he just kept on playing his laptop all day, my dad ask him to come out and eat dinner, he declines and later, at night he goes and microwave his cheesebacon,

im not sure but i think u go to internet settings/options on control; panel and it will show what devices are using the router and i think you can disconnect them

yes there is what connection type you have *company* you can reset your modem and put new user and pass

Can you please be more specific?? and the modem is in another room, and i'm using a netgear usb thingy for my computer, so that i can connect to the modem/internet,

ok do you know the modem's password if yes type in this in your web browser 192.168.1.1 when it ask for user and pasword type in admin for both then choose wireless i no longer own netgear but i think you need your cousins MAC address so you can block him off or you can remove him and thn change the password try that if not thn idk =/

Or go to your router settings and disable access to sites that he's getting his huge files

You could probably just contact your ISP. It would be a lot less confusing.

Exactly, that the problem, i don't know where his getting these files from, all i know is that he is playing that gunny game, through the browser, and i know it takes up alot of spaces



My cousin uses a vista laptop, he doesn't appear on my connection tree/map, well he appeared at the bottom, but his device wasn't discovered or he changed his ip or his laptop name
