(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); How much money would it cost to make a computer run ehh.....

Final Fantasy 13 or Bad Company 2

The same as or better than a PS3

Because my 2 brothers are in college and they say its time for me to try computer gaming. So they are building me a computer they both have home built computers that cost them 1000$ of dollars.

They said mine without the 22in Monitor Gaming mouse/keyboad will cost 800$ is that going to make me a powerful computer.

Think in terms that they know exactly what they're doing?

Edit*** I'm working 40 hours a week at his pizza place for 2 1/2 months in payment

To meet the ps3 you would have to get a 6 core processor, and dual if not triple graphics cards... A lot of ram maybe about 8 gigs... and a decent sound card... I know that the ps3 doesnt have that much but computers are weird and require more for gaming.... ( I have built my own pc)

Like God of War said, it's going to take a lot of stuff to even come near comparing a PC to a PS3... But a pretty good computer can play BC2 at 60 FPS, although I'm not sure about Final Fantasy 13...

If you want to get in real computer gaming play Quake 3 or Quake Live. It's what that shows your real PC skills more than BC2 and you don't need big stuff to buy at all...
