Because my 2 brothers are in college and they say its time for me to try computer gaming. So they are building me a computer they both have home built computers that cost them 1000$ of dollars.

They said mine without the 22in Monitor Gaming mouse/keyboad will cost 800$ is that going to make me a powerful computer.

Think in terms that they know exactly what they're doing?

The power supply has enough juice to sustain another ram upgrade to 8GB or even 16 if you wanna switch it out, and another graphics card if you feel the need, you are also going to have to purchase your own copy of windows, and make sure its 64 bit to take advantage of all that ram.
