(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well, i got autocad from my uncle and im going to be using it at school soon and i want to install it on my HP Pavilion dv7 with Windows 7 on it.

When i try to install it i get an error message. "You cannot install Autocad on this OS"

I looked up some videos and found that you can install it on windows 7 because in the video they installed it on windows 7. But why does it not work for me? I also looked on google and found something on Autodesk.com saying that you CAN INSTALL IT ON WINDOWS 7. but why cant i?
Anyone have any ideas?

thats what i was gonna say, maybe you have 64 bit os, and its a 32 bit install, or the other way around.

actually now that i think about it, it wouldnt matter if you had 64 bit and it was a 32 bit install, so you must have a 32 bit os and the install is 64 bit, thats my guess.
