(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); HP recently announced it was ending it's range of touch pad devices. Also effectively ending all it's support, potential new apps and updates for the device also. Because of the stiff competition in this market, and these circumstances, the TouchPad is just not worth its premium price tag anymore. HP and most retailers because of this, have cut prices of the product drastically.

The TouchPad originally retailed (in the USA) at $400, is now only $99 at places such as BestBuy. Other retailers are following this trend and also cutting their prices. In the UK the TouchPad is available for £89 currently from Dixons, Currys and PC World. Obviously though stock is limited and selling out quick so head down to your nearest retailer if you are interested in grabbing yourself a bargain!

Well, if the Touchdroid rumours are true and it's gets into action, then it's worth the £89, dualbooting Honeycomb and webOS.
At least you can watch Hulu on it without getting a warning, i guess :/

There's a bit of a difference between dollars and pounds. I don't think they were $400 and £400.

They must of really messed up with their product if they cut the price from $400 to $100. Too bad for them :p
