(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); HP recently announced it was ending it's range of touch pad devices. Also effectively ending all it's support, potential new apps and updates for the device also. Because of the stiff competition in this market, and these circumstances, the TouchPad is just not worth its premium price tag anymore. HP and most retailers because of this, have cut prices of the product drastically.

The TouchPad originally retailed (in the USA) at $400, is now only $99 at places such as BestBuy. Other retailers are following this trend and also cutting their prices. In the UK the TouchPad is available for £89 currently from Dixons, Currys and PC World. Obviously though stock is limited and selling out quick so head down to your nearest retailer if you are interested in grabbing yourself a bargain!

The product is ok, HP have quit the retail computer, phone, electrical market completely. There will be more products that will be cut soon.

They aren't working on dualboot, they want to get the basics done for porting android, then we can talk about dual boot.
