(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This is the thread where you can boast about your overclocks, and post some benchmarks as well. Essentially I am trying to keep this place alive and ticking since not too many people visit these parts of the forums.

Edit: Thread is back up and still being updated! Post away! Everything has been cleaned up a little and I placed the charts on separate pages.

What's the Purpose?

As I mentioned before, you can post some form of proof that you have overclocked really anything, weather it be your CPU or GPU. Even your RAM (Although no one has done this so far, you could be the fist!)

Just post an image or proof of some sort, and I will add you to the spreadsheet. The results will be found at the end of the thread.

Who can Join?

EVERYONE!

I am a noob at overclocking, can I join?

Of course! I will be more than happy to help you with any overclocking questions that you might have. If I don't have the answer, I will at the very least lead you in a trusted direction from folks over at another forum. (PM me if you would like to know, as I don't believe advertising is allowed, please correct me if I'm wrong)
There you will most definitely get the help you need as they are all very respectable overclockers and benchmarkers. Think your rig is the best? Chances are someone there will beat you. Oh and not to mention that they hold several world records.

Feel free to PM me at any time!

I'm Going to try and get my processor to 3.6ghz actually.
Ill update in 15 minutes, if i dont my cpu is dead

edit : FAIL

I really dont understand this now. i was running 230 bus speed. and 15x multiplier at 1.35V (3.47Ghz)
no problems at all.

then when put the multiplier to 17.5 at 206 bus speed. (3.6Ghz) at 1.4125 i get blue screen right after stress testing

Any suggestions? :(

Edit 2 : fixed!
im not sure how stable it is, i tested it in prime 95 for like 5 mins, will do a long test later.
i increased the Voltage to 1.45V
FSB to 200
and multiplier to 18
its now at 3.6Ghz.
can you update my scores? thanks Happy

Essentially I am trying to revive this forum somewhat. Most of these benchmarking tools are free so give them a go if you're feeling brave:

I will be creating a list with the highest overclocks, and highest score for benchmarks, (If this thread manages to get some attention) I really hope that people will pick up on this, since this forum has so many viewers but really NO posters anymore.

FORMAT FOR POSTING:

Any overclock/benchmark MUST require a form of ID. This can range from including your NGU username in a screenshot by using Wordpad, or by including a link to a validator that has your Username on it.

You must login or register to view this content.

As you can see my username is at the top, thus indicating that this is a legit overclock that was done by ME.

Any posts that do not have ID will be disregarded or perhaps told to re-upload the picture with a form of ID.

Keep it professional please.

Any pics of your computers are welcome and freely accepted. Might make another page for them with the highlights.

I had my i5 2500k at 4.Ghz for a few months, but I want to get a new cooler before doing anything more than that.
And my GPU was at
Core Clock: 900Mhz
Memory Clock: 1350Mhz

I don't want to overclock much at the moment as I'm still waiting to get a new case, and a watercooling rig. At the moment I'm using a cheap Bitfenix Marc case as I was on a beta, and whilst its a great budget case, the airflow isn't too great so temps have been getting pretty hot lately.

Alright. I will add you to. Thanks to both of you for contributing.

Edit: What GPU was it? You didn't say in your post.
