Prob not, but it would be a good idea. Just be sure if you do, get a good one, getting a cheap psu will not help you.

You recommend any? Also what happens if the psu is too powerful? Would it matter? Smile

This is a good choice, and no more power will not hurt, too little will.
Best plan is to decide on if you will be upgrading frequently, if so get more wattage perhaps 900 or 1000, if not 700 will do for now.

Unfortunately I am unfamiliar with any companies in the UK that offer pc products. Doing a search on google I found these links:

I know nothing about them, but were listed as alternatives to newegg.

You can get a cheaper psu yes,but read any reviews on it first. A bad psu will hurt the pc.

think black edition only uses 125 wats or something like that not sure off hand and 560 should run fine on anything over 500 ,unless your overclocking your gpu or cpu you should have no need of a high watt psu (unless you use sli in that case go with higher watt)

I won't be overclocking or any of that. Just upgrading the CPU From ii x4 840> ii x4 965 Black edition. That's it. I may buy a 600w PSU anyhow.. You recommend any?
