They are also still unstable and have issues with life expectancy. SSD is getting better but the life of an SSD versus an HDD is less but the performance difference can be much better.
Tbh, still with the prices and the performances differences I still don't see the point in getting an SSD where you can use that money on the side to bump up other hardware just a bit more or put it somewhere else. You are not getting enough of a boost, in my opinion, to justify getting an SSD over an HDD.
Once SSDs come down in price and become even more reliable, then I'd say get the HDD but it's completely up to the user.
