Error… Cat invasion!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay NGU, you are my last hope. I have a HP Laptop (Compaq nw9440) and I have windows 7 installed on it. But I have been told I have multiple viruses on it? I knew this already because when I start my laptop up after the login screen I just get a black screen with only the mouse cursor active. I spoke to a microsoft 'specialist' and he said I had polymorphic viruses and wanted me to pay him $250 to remove them. I think I got sent these viruses through skype but i am not sure. I really need to fix it because at the moment I am broke and can't pay to get it fixed or buy a new computer. Does anybody at all know how I can fix this? Even if it means reinstalling windows I do not care I just want it fixed. PS I dont have a Windows 7 installation disk and System Recovery does not work. Please help?

Hope it can be fixed. It may not be a virus I don't know.

RIP PICHU.
You can go and download a OEM copy of Windows 7 32 or 64 bit (whichever your system is) and then reformat your computer. You will have to mount them onto a DVD (4.7gb). Reformat your computer and then either buy a serial or using a Win Loader.

You will have to reformat your system. If you don't have or want to torrent it, you can always install Linux on your system until you find someone with a Win Disk.
