Hitful
Error… Cat invasion!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay NGU, you are my last hope. I have a HP Laptop (Compaq nw9440) and I have windows 7 installed on it. But I have been told I have multiple viruses on it? I knew this already because when I start my laptop up after the login screen I just get a black screen with only the mouse cursor active. I spoke to a microsoft 'specialist' and he said I had polymorphic viruses and wanted me to pay him $250 to remove them. I think I got sent these viruses through skype but i am not sure. I really need to fix it because at the moment I am broke and can't pay to get it fixed or buy a new computer. Does anybody at all know how I can fix this? Even if it means reinstalling windows I do not care I just want it fixed. PS I dont have a Windows 7 installation disk and System Recovery does not work. Please help?

Hope it can be fixed. It may not be a virus I don't know.

If you can boot into safe mode that should do the job even easier, but if not then its all OK I should think. You'll obviously need to start a need task for explorer.exe and then you need to get into your internet browser and download a Anti Virus Program (bare in mind most viruses can disable these, which is why safe mode is a good thing to have running) I would recommend using Malware'Bytes as it can detect almost anything, don't torrent it, you don't need the pro version. And run the virus scan and it WILL sort it, if it doesn't sort then you WILL have to format your computer by no means, which will mean you will have to torrent it and burn it to a disk or use the Windows ISO USB Maker tool from Microsoft and then boot into a new OS.
