(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey fellas, im new to this stuff of the android thing i was symbian yea an oldy but was very happy with my phone.

now i got this xperia S with android 2.3 something, and i know there are the 4 version because in the box said android 4 updatable.

BUT here is my problem i bought this phone from TELCEL mexican provider. and they dont allow the updates maybe you know all this shit and im just wasting my time writing this, :lol:

so yea i need to remove that and all the shit TELCEL PUT in this phone.

i was reading something about root?? and bootloader??

can someone give me a quick description on WTF is that. ?? and what i loose doing this ive read something about DRP? keys or something like that....

what are those and what i loose .... ?_?

Rooting your phone just means that you are moving around system files so that you or a program can access them.

Also the only thing you would probably lose is your warranty, if that is available with TELCEL: The Leader in Meheecan Telecommunications

oh crap ive cheked everything and put the code in my phone *#*#service#*#* and my phone CANT BE unlocked....... guess i need to wait for some genius to unlock this unhackable phone

I serious doubt its unhackable. If they can jail break an IPhone, they can root what you have. Just give it time. Smile

iv found a link through google about your phone, and im gonna pm it to you, lol its another forum, but one you can see without having to register, that tells you everythng you need to know and more Smile

because im stuck right in the beggining of the process---

yea im trying this since yesterday found the same tut Winky Winky

unfortunatly is not working for me..... :(

im only managed to update from 2.3.7 to 4.0.4 ICS

but my phone still not rooted :lol:

now the problem is in step1.bat

the files are not copying into the phone so the root files wont wont only the update...

i think im going to wait a little for a one click method :lol:


for now 4.0.4 is good :y: thanks anyway man :y:
