on your phone you will need to go into settings and change it so it allows 3rd party apps (search google) then still on your phone go to the browser and load You must login or register to view this content. and click download to computer once done it will ask you to install select yes and there's your free apps

(there's no real jailbreak for android software as it doesn't need it, although you can root it to change things like clocking the processor n shit like that lol)

Level 2 trustworthy
Rooting is a way of hacking the Android OS to allow rw access to the /system dirctory, it will void your warrenty, only mess around in the /system directory if you know exactly what files are needed/important, you can install a recovery menu, a recovery menu will alow you to install custom OS updates and tweaks for your phone, if you dont like having a rooted phone you can always unroot at any time, this will also give you back the remainder of your warrenty, hope this has helped Smile

maybe you didnt see my last post... i have rooted my phone now..

and yes i will call it jailbreak because if you didnt read my phone was with telcel, wich mean i cant update my device unless telcel let me....... SO with the jailbreak thing now my phone is free and now i dont have all shitty apps of telcel so useless apps.... , know what i mean, is not jailbreak for android OS, is for my provider. the root thing is a plus =D

BTW i wasnt talking how to use 3rd party apps, i know how to install and use that Winky Winky

With locked boot loader i think it's only temp root which means you loose it if your phone turns off i may be wrong but it was like that for the HTC sense XL which i had to unlock bootloader then root but it was fairly easy also i guess you flashed a custom rom unless that's a official update of ICS ice cream sandwich 4.0.4
