US PS3 Yes.
US PSN No.

You would have to create a new account. (UK)

Also..You most likely "Must" have a credit card also. Free trials require them. And all the free 'free trials' online require credit card

Yeah I got a CC thats not a problem. So i just need to make a new account and claim I reside in the UK?

Correct. The "New" account would have PS+. You can not transfer the PS+ to your 'main' account. Just wanted to make sure you know that.
