Let me give you an example: Asking for rep is like being a hobo asking for money, you always want it but once you get it you dont understand what its for.

I mean come on, posting pictures of girls almost nude and asking for rep? Its so pathetic how people do it; I for one de-rep any person i see doing this because its just pathetic. Serously its sad when every i see somebody post a video of something that they got from you-tube or leached a piece of information from someone else and then claim it as their's and at the bottom post "Rep me because i found this!" Its sad, chances are you would get more if you didnt' ask.

Oh well people are always greedy....

It is pretty pointless. It's nice to see what people think of your post though, I always check to see what got me rep.

Rep is a good thing as rep is earned due to your threads posts etc but i do agree i hate it when folks put in thier sigs rep4rep or else, rep if im hot etc etc, rep and thanks should only be given if it earned IMO

Rep that people beg for is stupid and defeats the purpose. 14 year old members love to feel slightly cooler (in internet land) though...
