Post: Rep; whats the deal?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Why do people spam all over every thread, post, forum about rep? Why do people treat it like its a drug? Rep has no value, you cant do anything with it.

Let me give you an example: Asking for rep is like being a hobo asking for money, you always want it but once you get it you dont understand what its for.

I mean come on, posting pictures of girls almost nude and asking for rep? Its so pathetic how people do it; I for one de-rep any person i see doing this because its just pathetic. Serously its sad when every i see somebody post a video of something that they got from you-tube or leached a piece of information from someone else and then claim it as their's and at the bottom post "Rep me because i found this!" Its sad, chances are you would get more if you didnt' ask.

Oh well people are always greedy....

Rep = respect most of the time.

I get your point, but your example isn't that good. Hobos know exactly what they are going to do with the money they receive =P

I am tired of seeing these pointless threads where people offer a service most likely just for rep. I would assume that because at the bottom of almost every post like that is "OMG +rep and thank if this helped or if you read this or...um...+rep!"
