@Pricey,
It is indeed a big universe. What interests me the most is the laws of physics. Does our law apply to any other race? Maybe "their" laws of physics are completely vice versa-that at an early stage, molecules/cells/atoms are structed and evolved differently.

I said no, but even if there was the matter in your body makes up less than one trillionth of all the matter on earth, and the earth makes up less than 1% of all the matter in the solar system. Our star is 1 of 5 billion in this galaxy, and this galaxy is 1 of 5 million that we know about. If you live to be 100 years old you will have lived less than one billionth of the age of the universe, and in 5 billion years, assuming that any sentient beings exists, it is very unlikely that they will have the technology to know that our star, let alone this planet, ever existed.

Well I'd have to disagree on that, I'm sure there were people that have said "Why worry about other planets? We're never leaving earth" and it wasn't mighty long ago that we set man on the moon.

You never know what kind of advancements we'll make in space travel, it most likely will not happened in our lifetime, but possibly one day it will happened.

Even if it were possible to travel at the speed of light (the fastest possible speed), it would still take 2 million years to get to the nearest galaxy.

This is an intresting topic to say the least. {=

The universe is ridiculously big, as far as I'm concerned it's inevitable there's more life out there. Now to go find it :p

well no creation as messed up as dezired could be from this galaxy....
its inevitable that dezired was kicked out of his galaxy for being a wannabe hacker and pissing every single life form in that galaxy off and was exiled to our galaxy...

There has not been any proven life on any other planets aside from single-cell organisms. But in the future, if we do find other life, I sure as hell hope it isn't the combine's :|

Single cell organisms are life.

If you even come close to travelling at the speed of light you would die, when you travel near the speed of light hydrogen becomes a very dense beam and emits high dozes of radiation.
