Ok a while back someone posted about referees giving the top Premiership teams the big decisions. Just like Phil Dowd bottled the Carling Cup Final - Man U v Villa, Howard Webb who is supposed to be the best ref in England did the same and fu**ed up today in Chelsea v Villa!
Villa had a clear penalty refused(as they did v United) and Chelsea should have had at least 1 player sent off (as United should have). Refs are obviously being intimidated into giving the big teams the decisions their way as they are afraid of what will happen when they referee one of these teams home matches. Or else they are just being paid which wouldnt be surpising whatsoever.
Terry's challenge Milner was disgusting, and showed exactly what im talking about. THERE IS DEFINITELY SOMETHING INFLUENCING THESE REFEREES DECISIONS! Its ridiculous.
Am i wrong?? Of course not...
1. Chelsea were also denied obvious decisions its part of football and im sure it wasn't a penalty in my opinon
2. Terry's tackle was just mistimed and yes his fut was very high but whos to say he wasn't trying to stop? but he did catch him so should have been a red.
3. I don't think referees are intimidated by bigger clubs. Chelsea vs liverpool champions league (2005) the ball was not over the line what i am trying to say is it happens to every team a referee has to make a decision it may be right it may be wrong.
" I played a game couple of months ago and we had 2 great challenges, clean challenges that got the ball and the ref give them 2 penaltys"
Its one of the hardest jobs in the world and the player imitate the ref aswell as the fans it's one job you have to have bollocks for.
