(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Apple takes up a great percentage of the electronics market; however, one piece of the pie Apple has not weened its way into is the gaming market, but this may not last too long. After the announcement of OnLive in 2009 Apple began to feel the heat. Growing speculation suggests that Apple, with the hiring of Microsoft's Richard Teversham, is expanding into the gaming industry (You must login or register to view this content.). There are many theories and ideas about the iBox, but many are not firmly rooted. As announced by Steve Jobs back in Jan. 2009 the Apple iBox is still a rumor. However, the question still remains...

Will Apple make a move of the gaming industry?

Yeah... Apple entering the gaming market will be just like their computer hardware. Under-powered and overpriced as hell.

Sony Veio = Windows Computer > Mac
Sony Ericsson = Windows Phone > iPhone
so, i'm guessing
PS3 = XBOX 360 > iBox

it'll be hard to guess tho, as Apple have very little experience with console gaming, if any

The only problem is is you pick up the controler, it'll lose signal, and you won't be able to play.

It's a rather large box and it looks silly so I'm guessing that's a concept design and one that I hope they get rid of. Also I don't know if I trust Apple to make a games console it will probably be really unusual just like there macs.
