(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The bible, everyone's heard of it, most people have it, a very few have read it from beginning to end. While a great read and a few words to live by in the book, is the bible really the word of god or just a book created by some guy in the desert back the day

i didnt intend on flaming on u, i just simply stated what i thought and never put down what u thought or was against it like these other people. what does capitalization have to do with the language? its just a damn forum.

Daddy's home.
I think it was wrote by some high bishop back in the day. What he saw whilst hallucinating he wrote down and then gave it to people for fun, not to realise that 2010 years later people would be debating over it whether it is real or not. That's my theory.

Because the name of that debate, "God vs Fact," implies that there are no facts that back up the existence of God, or the theory of creationism, and that all the facts support non-creationism theories. There are plenty of facts that disprove, or support the falsity of, the big bang theory, evolution, and other non-creationism theories. If we take the title completely for what it says, then none of these facts exist, and the only facts are ones disproving the existence of god.

It would be completely impossible to disprove the existence of god, because there are no facts that actually disprove his existence; they only support other theories. If the big bang theory is correct, then that does not mean that a god does not exist. The name "God vs Fact" is biased and incorrect.

I believe the author of the bible and the people back then saw things they couldn't explain and wanted control over the people so they wrote the bible.

Did you pay attention during the ENTIRE god vs. fact thread? Even for one second? Did you read even ONE of my posts in there?

Well to tell you people the truth it does not honestly matter if the bible is a work of fiction or if it's true, if you live by it's teachings then you will become a good person that is the real purpose of the bible and that purpose does not require it to be proven as a work of non-fiction.
