Everyone is making jokes and shit but here you go my friend hope this helps you.
This was all off the top of my head I am 23 and took the test when I was 17 so...

The driving test is a JOKE @ least in New Jersey it is.

1.) Get in your car and put your seat belt on and tell your instructor to put his/her seat belt on as well (my teacher told me that & then I told my instructor that when taking the test and he was like I am surprised most people forget that step)
2.) Have your mirros adjusted before hand (then act like you are adjusting your mirrors when instructor is in the car with you)
3.) No simply follow the couse, stay on the correct side of the road, and ALWAYS use your blinkers!!!
4.) When you are approaching a stop make sure you start breaking about 100 - 200 feet away from the stop AND COME TO A COMPLETE STOP!
5.) Wait about 5 seconds or so and look to your right, then left, then right again and proceed.
6.) Then you will have to parallel park (SOMETHING THAT I HAVE NEVER DONE since the test lol). Line up the car and when you see the cone in the middle of your rear passanger window you begin to turn into the spot. Straighten out and make sure you do not hit the cones. You have pleanty of room so you will be ok.
7.) Next you must make a K-Turn (or a 3 point turn). You simply get out of the parallel parking spot by making a K-Turn. Reverse a little, turn the wheel, pull out, then back up a little, turn wheel again, and then drive off... K-Turn.
8.) After that the test is complete and you will get your license.

There is nothing to worry about at all!! Hell I waited until I was 17 and I never had my permit. So I went to the DMV after practicing driving for about 2 hours the DAY BEFORE! Went in a took the test and that was it. Driving is not as intimidating as it may seem. Just relax and you will be absolutly fine.

where are you from England?

Cuz if so then GOOD LUCK!! lol.

My dad said that when he took the driving test in England that he had to use a manual car and he hand to do all this crazy shit. Like park on a hill without the car rolling backwards @ all of something like that IDK I was young when he told me this.

All I remember him saying is that the American driving test is like a stick figure drawing and the England driving test is like a work of art. (but my dad is 50 plus so that is probably why the tests were probably a lot harder than they are now... but if not good luck man lol)
