And also i have been told to lets say, when turning left always look in your left mirror last before making the turn, and the same for when you are turning right.

Everybody's saying "keep cool, Don't be nervous" but It's not that easy.
Just try to keep relaxed and just think of it as another driving lesson but you can't **** up haha.

Also when on lessons or even doing your test think of EVERY other car on the road as a total ****ing idiot who don't know what the heck they're doing.... so when your driving down a road your thinking "what the hell is he doing? where is he going? whats he doing?" just so you can prepare yourself for the worst.. It'll show the instructor you know what your doing.

remember the other things, if you stall it make sure you apply the hand brake and take it out of gear BEFORE turning on the engine.
STOP at a STOP sign Winky Winky apply handbrake.

make sure your instructor goes over the car checks with you so if the guy ask's you, you know where they are.

Take your time, Don't try to rush it or YOU WILL mess it up.
So if your setting off at lights, Take your time.. if you rush you'll end up messing it up.

Good luck Winky Winky

I do not understand why people get so nervous. You are on a closed course with NO other cars around you. What is there to be nervous about?

I took the test 1 time, after 2 hours of driving for THE FIRST time the night before, and passed it. Driving is not as hard as people think the KEY to driving is "the lack of thinking". What I mean by this is if you over think things that will lead to mistakes.

Because thats what its like in the USA, in the UK its not like that.
In the UK you take your test and practice on the road.

O for real?

Yea in the US you practice on the road with real life cars and situations and then you take you driving test on a closed course track.

You guys have to take your driving test on the road and parallel park in between real cars? If that is the case I think that is total bullsh*t because if my car got hit by some1 taking a driving test trying to park or drive I'd be pissed lol.

yeah you gotta park next to cars ect, but lucky for me. say for example the examier said ''id like a bay park'' luckley for me theres a bay park in the test centre.

Yeh we do it on the road lol, And most of the people in the USA take test's and drive automatic cars, We use manual.

And we have to do parallel park, bay parking, reverse round a corner, emergency stop and hill start.

So yeh i guess its harder for us in the UK lol.
