I think we do not need it what so ever, 2000 years ago people made it without the things we have today. And plus thats killing babbys right? how would you feel being killed. (On ps3, short and no sources)

they made it, but the life expectancy was about 35 :p. (the modern human species Homo sapien was born 100,000 years ago btw.)

and no, its not killing babies. its using the stem cell from babies that are already dead. most come from the umbilical chord anyway, which aren't from dead babies in the first place.

how would i feel being killed? i wouldn't because i'd be dead :p. (and my brain would be too undeveloped to formulate memories regardless).

I say if we can do this, and it will most likely raise the average life expectancy around five years then why not. why not help the rest of the world from the ALREADY DEAD baby's cells?

though the participation is enjoyed, opinions wouldn't hold up in a debate without a backing. So by saying you didn't have any sources its not good :] read the article and reply again so we can see if your stance on the issue changes

Well, I'm neutral for stem cell research. I know it can help those who have been born paralyzed or who need body parts, etc., but those stem cells come from aborted fetuses, and abortion I'm more on the no side, but not completely. It is a very iffy topic and my opinion on it can sometimes change daily.

P.S. I'm not saying that it bothers me but this topic might be a little touchy for some members because it is a "moral" issue so be careful.

P.P.S. After Dirty's debate we're gonna have a debate on the best console. Lol, JK!

This debate isn't going to work.

There has to be teams of for and against the motion.

The person doesn't decide what team the go on.

Stem Cell research is needed.

If it can save lives, then go for it.
