Hi, I don't like you
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Discuss anything that has to do with the up and coming 2010 NFL season.

Well Brett Favre remain retired? Who is the best team entering the year? Is Agentjon007 the coolest guy ever? Discuss it here.

Also, feel free to discuss about fantasy football here and I'm sure there are some guys capable in giving some good advice.

WATCH some Vince Young Kerry Collins Titans thing will happen. They will go back with Kolb and put Vick in a couple plays 9which he will shine) then they will see Kolb ain't winning shit and they will put Vick in. Then Vick will lead the team to victories but it will be too late because Kolb (aka. Keyy Collins) would have already lost too many games and Vick's (Vince Young) winning will be for nothing. (Just like the Titans last year a little too late) Hopefully Andy Reid can learn from Jeff Fischer's decision to put Young in later, if he did it earlier the Titans would have made the playoffs.

That's all fine except.

1.) The Green Bay Packers weren't planning their defense around stopping Michael Vick. So when he came in they we're caught off guard and didn't have a plan in place to stop him.
2.) Michael Vick in his career has had good games in which he follows them up with bad games. Vick could go out next week (which he will start Kevin won't be ready to go) and suck it up and everyone forgets what he did this previous week.
3.) You are reaching with the comparison from the Titans situation of last year. FAR different teams. If Vince Young has to carry that team via his arm the Titans don't win as many games. Instead, Young's main job was to hand it off to Chris Johnson and not **** it up when they called on him to pass.

Completely different to what Vick would have to do. Andy Reid doesn't run the ball. Vick isn't a good pure passer. Not a good combination.

This is all fine and dandy but you will see Vick is back son!! This is the best that I have seen him throw the ball even when he was in Atlanta.

And as far as the whole Green Bay defense bullshit you were spewing. Tell me what game plan you can come up with for having the QB sacked 10 yards behind the line of scrimmage but then he breaks 3 tackles and busts off a 30 something yard run (TWICE). Certain things you can not gameplan for no matter what you try to do. When you have a scrambling QB you can not game plan for that because there are too many variables. Only thing you can do is be like ok Matthews you are going to spy Vick that is your only job description.

About the vince Young situation go back and look @ the Titans film from last year (only reason why I know this is because Deon Sanders showed this on NFL Network). The games that Vince Young did play in yea he did hand the ball off to CJ. BUT a majority of those games when it was all said and done the Titans had to fight back at the end to win the game because they were down, I forget how many come back from behind wins he had. But when you are down what do you do? Not run the ball, so a lot of the titans sucess was due to Vince Young's arm. Also lets keep in mind that CJ did ALL of his damage on his way to 2000 yds in the beginning of the season. At the end it was just ok lets give him the ball so he can get his 100 + on his way to 2000. That was in the first half of games then in the end when they were down Vince Young came in and stepped up.

The defense shit I was spewing? Do you know anything about football? The Green Bay Packers defense was preparing that whole week to stop a pocket passer in Kevin Kolb, not a scrambling QB in Mike Vick. The minute Vick came in there and started the whole gameplan for that week the Green Bay Packers put together went out the window. Its hard to put together a plan B on the fly in the NFL. As a little example lets go back to the game where the Dolphins pulled out the Wildcat against the Patriots, they simply couldn't stop as they had no game plan to stop it. Next time the Dolphins played the Patriots they had no where near the success with the wildcat as the Patriots were able to game plan for it. You can't game plan to stop Vick, you can game plan to slow him down.

Once again you missed the point in the Titans situation last year. Vince young threw the ball 25 or under times in 6 out of 10 games. Michael Vick will hit that by halftime in most games if he started for the Eagles. The Eagles simply don't run the ball with their RBs. I know I don't want Vick dropping back and throwing the ball 50 times a game like Eagle QBs are known to do. Vick still has trouble making decisions at this level evident by a rushing TD he could have had but instead tried to force the ball into double coverage.

You are right with that because I noticed the same thing but think about this. The Eagles are a pass first team right? The BIGGEST knock on Vick his whole career is that he is a run first pass second type of QB. So I feel that he did not run that it because he was "trying" to prove a point that he does not just need his legs he can pass too. But he definitly should have ran it in on that play, he just over thought the play.

I just think that Vick would make a WAAAAAY better starting QB for the Eagles than Kolb, NOT McNabb, but Kolb.

But regardless who is playing next week they will look like Peyton Manning or Brady because they are playing the Lions. Hopefully Vick gets the start and if he proves himself, and can keep his fumbles and INTs down, than I can see Vick stealing the job from Kolb. Because REGARDLESS what Andy Reid says we ALL know that the FANS in philly make the decisions by their actions.

I'm not ready to anoint Vick as an all of a sudden great QB in this league again.

However, if Kolb does struggle after a few games back when he returns and Vick is continuing the play from Sunday then it isn't without a doubt that Vick should be the QB of this team.

In honesty, Vick is a better QB for this teams WR. Which is why they need to figure out what they are going to do. Jackson more so then Maclin is a guy whose speed is his biggest weapon. Kolb doesn't have the arm to consistently get him the ball down field like Vick. Kolb is a guy who needs WRs like an AnQuan Bolden build big WRs who can take a hit across the middle something Jackson can't do. They got Cooper and Avant who can do that and maybe Maclin. They need to decide what type of offense they want to run and choose their QB that way and get rid of the other and try to get picks for them.

Yea I personally do not see why everyone was so quick to give Kolb the starting job, why? Cuz he threw for 300+ yards in his first 2 starts, if I remember they lost one of those games if not both.

I just felt that the Eagles screwed themselves by parting ways with McNabb. I am an Eagles fan but I can HONESTLY say that I HOPE that when the Eagles play the Skins in Philly that McNabb lights them up for like 500yds and 4 TDs and WIN!!! Then when we play them in Washington McNabb throws for 350 yds and 3 TDs and they win 24 - 21 with a final drive at the end of the game with McNabb scoring the game winning TD. Yep you heard it, I want McNabb to beat my team twice as a "I told you so"

another thing to point out. The Redskins are a HORRIBLE team compared to what McNabb had in Philly. So what did McNabb not do last season? (Beat the Cowboys twice when it mattered in the end of the season and the playoffs) BUT he beat them last night with a worse team BUT a more SUPERIOR coach. So what was the problem in Philly the QB or the coach? My vote would be for the coach.

I AM DISGUSTED with how they treated McNabb after ALL he has done for the city.

I think that is something all Philadelphia fans are going to be watching this season. I know my dad and I were paying close attention to that Redskins game and will continue to pay attention to how they play. You will know by seasons end whether the problem was McNabb or Reid.

At the end of last year, after to embarrassing losses to the Cowboys, I wanted one of them gone whether it was Reid or McNabb. I didn't care which it was but one of them had to leave as they just weren't getting it done together.

I wasn't a huge fan of McNabb, but I wasn't one who didn't realize he did a helluva lot for this organization as well. I would have preferred Reid to get shown the door and give McNabb another year with the talent on the offensive side we amassed with a new coach.

Honestly, I hope Gruden stays out of the NFL for this year and next. I'd give Reid that long if he can't do it, I'd do everything I could to bring Gruden in.
