I'm not ready to anoint Vick as an all of a sudden great QB in this league again.
However, if Kolb does struggle after a few games back when he returns and Vick is continuing the play from Sunday then it isn't without a doubt that Vick should be the QB of this team.
In honesty, Vick is a better QB for this teams WR. Which is why they need to figure out what they are going to do. Jackson more so then Maclin is a guy whose speed is his biggest weapon. Kolb doesn't have the arm to consistently get him the ball down field like Vick. Kolb is a guy who needs WRs like an AnQuan Bolden build big WRs who can take a hit across the middle something Jackson can't do. They got Cooper and Avant who can do that and maybe Maclin. They need to decide what type of offense they want to run and choose their QB that way and get rid of the other and try to get picks for them.
Yea I personally do not see why everyone was so quick to give Kolb the starting job, why? Cuz he threw for 300+ yards in his first 2 starts, if I remember they lost one of those games if not both.
I just felt that the Eagles screwed themselves by parting ways with McNabb. I am an Eagles fan but I can HONESTLY say that I HOPE that when the Eagles play the Skins in Philly that McNabb lights them up for like 500yds and 4 TDs and WIN!!! Then when we play them in Washington McNabb throws for 350 yds and 3 TDs and they win 24 - 21 with a final drive at the end of the game with McNabb scoring the game winning TD. Yep you heard it, I want McNabb to beat my team twice as a "I told you so"
another thing to point out. The Redskins are a HORRIBLE team compared to what McNabb had in Philly. So what did McNabb not do last season? (Beat the Cowboys twice when it mattered in the end of the season and the playoffs) BUT he beat them last night with a worse team BUT a more SUPERIOR coach. So what was the problem in Philly the QB or the coach? My vote would be for the coach.
I AM DISGUSTED with how they treated McNabb after ALL he has done for the city.
