Never come on here anymore
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I recently got some money and I wanted to buy a 360 because all my friends have one. So I see that the arcade version is only 150.00 dollars. Can anyone tell me the difference between arcade and regular. Also I know it doesn't have a hard drive but can i buy the hard drive separately and use it with my Arcade xbox that I might buy.

+rep for the most helpful answer.

here is the link to the one I might buy

The Xbox360 Arcade has only 256mb memory unit and the regular Xbox360 has 20gig hard drive.

Just buy an external hard drive for your xbox, when you have enough money to buy one again.

Arcade has no hard drive, but comes with a memory unit. The memory unit is fine if you only want to save games, but is too small for most dlc and installations.
It comes with some arcade games (Pac-Man, Uno and some others).
I think it has a wired controller instead of a wireless one.
The hard drive can be bought seperately. There is a cover on the top, you can take it off and replace it with a hard-drive.
You could probably get a cheaper one on ebay, I bought my 360 recently from there for £45 Smile

try this...

1.) Go to Game Stop or your local Best Buy or electronic store.
2.) Ask an employee to show you where the X Box 360 section is.
3.) Go to the section and proceed to walk down the aisle glancing at the 360
4.) Once you see how SH*TTY the 360 looks on display and the games they got go to the BEAST section.
5.) At this point you will be in the PS3 section, aka. the MAN section.
6.) Buy yourself a PS3 console and then buy yourself some games.
7.) Go home and enjoy the REST of you life of bliss.

The arcade comes with a 256mb memory card. But you can go and buy any size HDD from Gamestop and use it.

The only difference is that the regular comes with a 20gb HDD. And if im not mistaken the Arcade version comes with 2 games?

HDD= Hard Drive Winky Winky
