No only grades 9 and above count towards your transcript & GPA. Colleges only see 9th and above

In ways it will effect it. In Middle School you need to keep up your grades so you can get into the right classes in High School. They're not going to let a kid with straight C's into an Honors class so go ahead and try your best. Not trying to sound like your mother or anything, lol.

Only freshmen and above counts toward your GPA. They all say you have to do great in middle school to do well in high school, that's a lie.

OMG thank god I used to get into so much trouble in Middle School until I finally got sent to JJAEP for behavior last year in 8th Grade. This year I've been really good, am in all honors classes and getting two college credits (AP Human Geography and AP English) as a freshman but I've been worried I won't be able to get into a good college because of my behavior record.
