Why do you think religious groups segregate themselves in areas in certain cities? It's cus they're scared of being influenced by non-believers and polluted by the ignorance they keep.

Take a step back and look at the bigger picture and at how you can make a difference in what you say and do, not follow suit and the crowd, which eventually leads you where? To a better enlightenment? No. To a better understanding? No.
Please enlighten me as to where it leads you?

I'm not atheist. Atheist is assuming people who don't believe in any God with the religions we've been given to choose from don't believe in any God. I believe that there can possibly be a creator but not a concious person, but many an energy. I just hate religion for it's flaws, it's wars, it's ignorance and the people who think i'm ignorant for thinking that such religions have truth. There are so many examples through history where people have been hushed and killed for not following something which could, (now this is a KEYWORD, so don't go bitching and neg repping), be written by somebody who wants to create power and lead a group of people
Religion has a couple traits which we know.
1) It can be used as a tool of power, to fuel wars for land and posessions
2) It can stop us being afraid of nothing after life, and the emptyness of nothing after life (althought I don't see why you should follow something because you're scared, it's selfish)
3) Those who have lost somebody look upon religion to sofen the blow and hope that there is a chance this individual is safe, and secure somewhere else as another entity
4) Quite a lot of the people who follow religion have had some trauma in their life, so those that
follow religion only follow it because they feel it'll make them a better person when infact it's essentially a book of drugs (it calms when angry, it makes you happy when you're sad) etc.
Go ahead, continue to say i'm ignorant but i'm one of the most open minded people I know that doesn't follow religion. You don't know me, you don't know my ethics and values, you don't know my beliefs. You only know chunks of information that I have given and you have judged me by words and an internet persona. So before you continue to judge me by words, judge yourself for being ignorant to being open minded and you obviously do not know what open mindedness is.
Being open minded does not mean I can say any religion is possible, and yes, it is, but there's so many examples of religion in the past that are almost identical to modern religion, and this isn't just coincidence.
Being open minded is saying ''yeah, everythings possible'' and taking everything rational and reasonable towards external factors like what has happened through your life, how you have grown up. Most people who follow religion have been subject, to subjective reasoning, meaning they have been brought up, into or around the religion or have had trauma through their life as said before.
You think you're better than me, and think you can 'see the bigger picture'. That's the problem with the people who are ignorant, they think they're better than everybody else and those that don't have the same beliefs or values, they're suddenly labeled ignorant and punished. In this case negative rep. HA.
So yes, i'm open minded. There could be a God, but not in these fabrications of lies used for power, control and money!
P.S. yes I know this is my 666'th post lmao, this doesn't really show well to this debte

You got negative rep because all your posts in this thread are mis-informed and biased towards YOUR points of view. You have not taken anyone else's thoughts into consideration when posting, merely just got some facts off websites and posted them up here to back your argument up.
I have not judged you at all, but only given opinion by what you have posted in this thread. You continue to post in this thread to prove your point, and when no-one else posts in here you will feel a sense of victory and pride, that you managed to silence the people in here.

I'm not proving a point, i'm proving there's NO point. They're not my points of view, my opinions, my beliefs, they are facts that I have gathered throughout my lifetime, and by facts I don't mean things i've read in an unproved books I mean things that have actually been prove. My dad's catholic, my mum's christian, my grandparents are both catholic and 2 of my mates are muslim and they're all great, and I don't force anything on them but they try and force things on me, along with those stupid Johova's Witness's that knock on my door once a week.
Once again, it's not my views. I don't have views and opinions I have facts and figures for and against religion and those facts against religion heavily outweight the for. That's how the world works.
The misinformation comes from your end, my friend.
I'll also give you +rep because I respect those with strong opinions and beliefs no matter what they are and respect those who stick up for them

Hence the word 'assuming'. What you said is exactly what I meant. Not believing in any choice of a God we've been given to choose (all the existing religion) then we're branded as atheist as shown in previous posts.
I'm agnostic, to the sense that i'm willing to believe that their is some form of energy possibly overseeing/creating/controlling. But not a lot of these fabrications of history. I'm not saying it's at the top of my list of possibilities but it's in the top 10

No, you 'hate' religion because people that influence you say that they 'hate' religion.
And you can't blame wars on religion, it is elementary knowledge that violence in monolithic scales will always occur where man exists.
No-one thinks you're ignorant for not having faith in any religion. They think you're ignorant for forcing Atheism down people's throats, trying to make people believe what you believe, which, ironically, is one of the things that you have been against this whole time.
