Post: The Future of Mankind

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I currently study history, and enjoy focusing on periods such as the World Wars, the Roman Empire, and the Middle Ages.

One thing I have learned is that Humans are made to destroy each other, bent on justifiying religion, increasing their own wealth or power, or for the sake of killing.

World War II brought about millions of deaths, and is now known as the most lethal war in human history.

Albert Einstein said, "I do not know what weapons World War III will be fought with, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones".

My point is, what are humans destined to do to each other? We are the dominant race of Earth, challenged by no one but ourselves. We can either love each other, or send Earth into a Nuclear Winter, leaving nothing behind.

What are your views on the future of our race, as I am unsure what to think...but slowly I lean to we will one day destroy ourselves.

We're all gone...

Its all about the alliances these nations have. One nation bombs another, then all of the bombed nation's allies spring up and bomb the attacker, then it keeps going until the entire planet is under what is called a Nuclear Winter...most humans will die (5 - 5.5 Billion), the survivors will either slowly die or survive to start a new civilization, if it is even possible, because most our food sources will be destroyed or contaminated.

I think humans would be more prepared for a plague/pandemic if it were to occur.

Though there is always a good possibility for a mass outbreak of a disease, it just depends on a lot of conditions though.

Thats the danger we face everyday.

Cancer doesn't spread from person to person though, it may not be cured (I'm not hating Cancer survivors or any suffering), but cancer will not be a pandemic, as it does not spread from person to person.

Infections like the flu, or variations can become pandemics (they have in the past). They just need the proper conditions to move quickly from person to person. (I.E. Coughing, eating, infecting animals which we eat...etc...etc).

See what I'm getting at?

True. I feel that if a disease that bad (I.E. as bad as the Black Death), were to happen, I would be more afraid then if a Nuclear War were to break out.

But either would be devastating. But we need to remember that disease isn't always the fault of mankind, a nuclear war would be though.

Lol Call of Duty: The Next Way to Train Soldiers

If there was Nuclear War it wouldn't be fought with soldiers, it would be fought with nukes...nothing would be left :(.
