Post: The Future of Mankind

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I currently study history, and enjoy focusing on periods such as the World Wars, the Roman Empire, and the Middle Ages.

One thing I have learned is that Humans are made to destroy each other, bent on justifiying religion, increasing their own wealth or power, or for the sake of killing.

World War II brought about millions of deaths, and is now known as the most lethal war in human history.

Albert Einstein said, "I do not know what weapons World War III will be fought with, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones".

My point is, what are humans destined to do to each other? We are the dominant race of Earth, challenged by no one but ourselves. We can either love each other, or send Earth into a Nuclear Winter, leaving nothing behind.

What are your views on the future of our race, as I am unsure what to think...but slowly I lean to we will one day destroy ourselves.

if we dont kill ourself within 250 years the earth will be beyond repair and we will die out within 750-850 years due to famon only a small portion of humans will survive in northern africa

You are right, eventually the earth will just drain its resources. But why would only a small portion survive in North Africa?

According to Stephen Hawking we'll have to leave the earth within 200 years, glad I'm not around for that considering that there'd inevitably be billions of us left behind lol :p

it will be the only place with enough proteins in the ground to grow crops and temperate enough

if you know how global warming works (a little) sea level rise gets warmer some areas become toxic ect alot more super storms worldwide not just in asia

at this rate in around 1600 years we will be bombared by solar radiation killing micro bacteria in the soil (meaning we cant grow crops) and most mamals

the bad thing is we have enough technology to slow this down till we have machines and laws to stop toxic production

just costs too much.. apparently

Ah I see what you are saying.

I can understand why right now our governments can't afford to spend the money on technology. Although during times of prosperity it is something our governments should look into to instead of focusing on other things.

Good points :y:.

Ahh I see what you are saying.

And you

Visiting other worlds... How much more optimistic do you want? The possibilities are endless in a universe where rare things happen all the time. We could explore for forever and a day.

While it is a good thing to be optimistic, the reality of some things is too great to ignore.
