Post: Mankind's Biggest Flaws

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Whilst sitting on the bog earlier I had a think about how I would improve the human race and subsequently what was most wrong with us as a species in general. To give you an idea of what I mean this could range from mental conditions to breaking bones all the way to our vulnerability of an alien takeover(don't laugh, it'll happen someday Winky Winky ).

Here's a list I've made:

- Our stupidity and general arrogance.
- Our fear of the unknown.
- Our hunger for power.
- Our hunger for knowledge.
- Our inability to accept everyone; our inability to live together in harmony and provide 100% equality.
- Our genetic instability during our creation(not worded correctly but you get the idea).
- Our cynicism.
- Our inability to comprehend so many things.
- Our hate.
- Our sexuality.

I could go on forever but I'm tired and I want to watch last nights' Eastenders :tits:

So, what do you guys think?

Well here's selfishness that prevents progression in the modern day. Anybody recognise the name Nikolai Tesla? Wireless electricity. You could charge your phone, watch tv, surf the internet without any wires powering them atall.

Electricity through waves similar to that of radio waves, although I don't know how the mechanics of it work, but all the electricity industry didn't want this happening because it'd stunt their buisness as anybody could tap into these electricity waves as easy as radio waves, so nobody has bothered since.

What an absolutely brilliant idea/invention though. It'd save lives! Think about it. All around you, you can tap into electricity. Your phone is about to shut off because it's on low battery and your friend is dying and you're nowhere near a payphone or any people. Oh, I know, i'll charge it in the middle of nowhere! It could save lives, save materials (wires, copper etc), save space, save time and give us one bitchin' way to charge our belongings.

Also the electric car would be unstoppable

I think that man's most fatal flaw is the fact that nealy 99% of men would choose omnipotence over omniscience.

Well that's only logical, considering an omnipotent man would be able to give himself omniscience :p.

I have to agree on this. However, we will never be able to change people's views on issues like this (gay marriage is a prime example).

This is incorrect. The only feasible way to transmit electrical power wirelessly would be to send out microwaves. It would be HORRIBLY inefficient, considering power would be dissipated in all directions, and it would only work over very small distances. The only way to get it to work over long distances would be to focus the microwaves into a laser, which then has the problem of extreme locality and side effects like heat.

I'm sure though with advances in technology that could be easily fixed.
