(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well a few days ago i got this virus thing and AVG moved it to the vault but everytime i start my computer I get the pop up saying virus detected,
It's something like a backdoor.generic13.KNC

I've scanned my PC numerous times but nothing found.
Also Its located it temp files?

why dont you restored your computer to an earlier time if you cant find a solution it works for me :y:

your files will be there and everything else except changes to your computer when did you get this virus
Example: if you got it yesterday restore your PC to the day before yesterday than your computer should start up normally if not try this
Start/run/%temp% and delete all that in there and try restarting your PC

Since your having no real issues, I assume AVG did its job and it's just recognizing it because it's quarantined or there's traces of it left.

i have the same problem mate. it randomly started. but i have backed it up so mant times it has turned into the first xp theme when it's ment to be olive green :/

Another possible solution is to run in safe mode ( keep pressing F8 at start up ) select safe mode.
Go online, google Malware free addition, download it and run a full scan in safe.
Reboot in regular and run it again.
AVG alone has let a couple get on mine and no problems since malware has been running too.
Restore is an easy method and you can keep going back a couple of days till its gone but you should install some addtional protection.
Just a suggestion and you should get a lot of better ones with all of the code writing hackers on here.

empty your AVG
and defrag your computer

Best thing is to format your computer and use the anit virus at the begining!
