Surely it is possible to give it 110%. If you think about it logically. Lets say that accomplishing a goal is 100%. When people ask you to give 110% they want you to over achieve. Now lets say your coach asked you to score 20 points in the basketball game and give it 110%. You went out and scored 30 points. Since you completed the task of twenty points (100%) and then added ten extra points, you actually over achieved of what your goal was. hense you gave it 110% because you achieved more than what was required of you at your giving it 100% mark.
