a doctor can recommend medical marijuana for just about anything.. so anyone can get a prescription.. I mean depression, MS, Cluster-headaches..If used properly it can be a good thing, and addiction to pot is much less likely then other drugs, including tobacco.

Basically you have to have a permit to smoke it... Doctors will give a permit to practically anyone, SO that is why you see EVERYONE smoking it... and buying it..

Honestly, it's sad that Prop 19 didn't pass. I'm not a weed smoker myself, but I'm tired of hearing kids getting locked up for having a plant.

There are other things out there for the police to deal with, why waste their time hunting down someone just cause they possess a damn plant?

You have to be 18 in order to get it. You can go to any physician that's licensed to deal with herbal medicine like marijuana. Then, once you go there, you basically fill out some paper work about your condition. I said i had "insomnia." Then the physician does like a 5 minute assessment on you and asks you a couple question. Then just like that, you are legible for medical marijuana. You have to pay for the recommendation though. I got mine for $59 and it's good for one year. Usually, their over $100, but renewals are cheaper. Then once you have that, you can go to any medical marijuana clinic and buy all the weed you want
