Post: Goals/Aspirations for your Future
11-08-2010, 11:40 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Seeing as majority of NGU is composed of teenagers, we should all recognize the day is coming where you cannot play Call of Duty all day =D.

I'm interested in seeing what some of the members here on NGU have thought about for their future. What do you aspire to do and give back to society?

Thread Rules:

  1. No flaming no matter what
  2. Give reasons of why you aspire to do "that thing"
  3. Don't post useless things. This is a real discussions. Try to stay on topic!
  4. Give some feedback to other users if you want to. Make it constructive feedback. Don't just say "Stupid idea".

As for my aspirations...I hope to one day work in the field of economics. I love both history and math and elements of both of these subjects can be found in economics Happy.

I'm going to community college, then I'll most likely end up transferring, I'm interested in something in the realm of Graphic Arts, or video editing.

Get my bachelor's ASAP and then work on mba and masters and hopefully get an internship as a statistical analyst for a investment company or bank. I'm a freshman in Binghamton (SUNY) majoring in business/finance... I expected math but not this much math -__-

Do a barrel roll!
well i plan to use my ability to play baseball to get into college. while im in college i'll be NJROTC to get me rady for the United States Marine Core. i'll do four years in college so when i get out i'll be an NCO (non commisioned officer) at the rank of a LT. from there i'll have to got basic, and after basic i'll go to OTS (officer training school) after training school i get to return to my unit and go into my desired profession, wich for me will be a scout sniper. after sniper school i'll be sent back to my unit or if my scores were high enough picked out for force recon. and from there who knows where i might be. but considering i can already hit targets at 1000+yds i pretty sure they'll pick me out.

Well when i grow up and can't play Call of Duty i'll be sad. But my future job will be a golf course supertendent. It's the person that takes care of everything. I'll have to spray chemicals know when to mow what grass and alot of other things. One reason i would love this job is because my family owns a golf course and i've always been around it. I've learned lots of things from my dad who does this for a living now. This is the perfect job for me too. I'll get all winter off because people don't golf in the snow. I'll be able to play Call of Duty then. Ill live happily ever after

I honestly don't know if I want to go to a 4 year university. I know it sounds crazy, but I don't know if I want to end up having to pay shitloads of money for a majority of my life. I also have no idea what I want to be when I grow up. Wherever the wind blows I guess. I'm 15 btw.

still the same OG, but I've been low key
I'll be going to a Californian University majoring in Network Security. I will probably end up living my whole life out there. Also, I'll most likely swim in college, but always keep graphics as a side job/interest.

What I know for sure is that I want to enlist into the USMC after high school. But I'm debating whether to go to college first and go to a PLC/OCS program during the summer while I'm in college or to enlist right after high school. Hopefully in the next 2 years or so I'll be able to make that decision.
