Information - In this thread you will be able to voice your own opinions about NextGenUpdate. You can say what you have most like since you have been a member or even what you have disliked. You can even put what things you would like to choose and things would want fixed or even maybe things to be implied.

We are all member's of NextGenUpdate and whatever can value and make the site and community grow for yourself and every other member is great. We are all a community of NextGenUpdate. Also this can be a thread to make yourself shine! In this thread you can put what has happened to you since you have been here as a member. Shame these days people get promoted for the wrong reason and a lot of people have a different attitude towards the site these days.

Been at NGU for over a year and it just gets better and better as time flies by! I enjoy helping people as a mod, I like the friends I have here, it's really good fun and I hope we stay the way we are, (but obviously improve as well)

Well Well, where to begin....I have a ton of fond memories from numerous people. I have three memories that stick out most. 1st, was back before I was a mod, and Knucks was a SB mod (back when we had them), we used to rip on kids left and right, all day, every day. We must have insulted this guy Screamo everyday for a year almost, sounds really bad, but was good times, lol. 2nd, when I met my longtime homie Como for the first time, we would just shoot the breeze about tons of random shit, learned a ton about British people from him. Around this time, members like Gobble and Hells were joining up, which just added to the greatness of the conversations. It was a wonderful time, no newfags, good members and stimulating conversation. We were all good buddies. 3rd, when me and Outsider got kinda close we started chatting a lot and running the vBookie. Every week we would just talk shit to each other, make vBookie threads and boast as to who had the most correct picks or w/e. This was a good time, too. I like to meet other young people who drive for success and make something out of nothing. We discussed everything from drinking beer to him coming to visit and stay with me @ my home. Good times.

Some of the newer memories I have, include meeting Shiver and learning some of his ninja-like capabilities on a computer. This man has taught me everything I know about jailbreaking a ps3 and all the MW2 patches stuff, as well. Just an all around good guy who is super f'ing smart, nice to have people like that to talk to. Rjive was along that ride, too. We had 3 guys just tinkering with JB ps3's and messing around chatting with eachother, even on the phone on a few occaisions.

Overall, my best memories are when I met good people here and I continue to do that every day. Oprah and Lady are a cool ass couple that I have met recently, Reaper is a really cool kid who listens and learns well, F33L has been a loyal member for a long ass time, Paul cracks me up with his pill popping antics, Chris2k7 has been down forever and a good friend for a long time, Newfie and I had some great times on WAW zombies, he basically taught me how to play, MBO cracks me up on a daily basis and is making a good name for himself as a moderator, Battman is a cool older guy pedo who knows how to handle some of these youngsters, all the current admins are cool and do a great job of what they do, especially Gobble and Jim (used to be Jive as well ), and I could go on and on like this for probably another page.

To all those I missed, my bad, this is a total rant post in which I typed the first things that came to my head.

A message to newer members joining this community : Don't just leech, actually CONTRIBUTE to the site and you will have a much better experience here.

A message to everyone basically trying to get mod in this thread: Don't get caught up in the "color game", being a mod just means you have to put in work around here. If you try too hard to get mod, its never gonna happen. It is very easy to spot a kiss-ass vs. a hardworking good premium member.

A message to everyone else : I :love: you all and would like to thank you for some of the fondest, nerdiest memories I will ever have

Hmm were to start.
I miss the days of: when no-one talked about CoD in the shoutbox, when Oc and Elf were mods and when JCM was the bully victim of gobucks. NGU has changed lots of the past years/ year, but everything changes, people just gotta except shit! But yeah, everyone has been awaiting the famous "homepage" and also I miss the days when everyone used to get along, most people now are here to talk shit and troll.

Only problem i have with the staff is that ever since RedKnight joined this site and i gave him enough vbucks to become premium he has been constantly trying to seduce me, i find it kind of disturbing but thats just one of the many downsides to the whole internet forum rapist thing.
