Well when I joined, I didn't know shit about this place. I just leeched mad hard for a challenge lobby. Then I bought a j-rag from shiver and decided to stay. I remember begging for rep and got punished for it Greatest mistake was when I bumped a 8 month old thread :p You must login or register to view this content. I thought NGU was good because it was a pretty small community. I didn't even know that there were mods or anything. Know I think that the community is great, I mean they helped us get to where we are today. Even the occasional trolls, its still a great place to browse around or go in the Shoutbox.

I thought it was a unique community. I have been a member on many forums, but NGU seems to be the most helpful and successful community. This other site I used to make texts and posted some of my texts and Favo said you didn't make those, and i'm like :wtf: So this is where I learned how to make sigs.

I joined because a site i used to visit started to die out..and this one made me register with that damn maximum posts i can read without registering

When i joined NextGenUpdate it was very small and everyone was very skeptical about it, and wondered if it would ever live up to NextGenBoards(now i laugh at that thought). For a couple months there was less than 10,000 members and most of them were from NGB. As time went by the site kept growing and growing, NGU really blew up in November with MW2 and December with the prestige hack. After that the modded lobbies on Xbox helped it grow and in September modded lobbies on PS3. I am still loving NextGenUpdate and everyone that is a part of it.

At first when i joined, i think i was looking for C0D hacks, then i found the prestige hack, but the links were locked so i signed up later on, found out that the prestige hack on mw2 was easy as cake, i made a shop, made enough vbux off of it to buy premium back in the day, where vbux were worth something. Been a regular ever since. My thought at first were that this site is sick because of all the hacks, but later on i really enjoy meeting most of the ngu community and such, great place overall :y:
