Well when I joined, I didn't know shit about this place. I just leeched mad hard for a challenge lobby. Then I bought a j-rag from shiver and decided to stay. I remember begging for rep and got punished for it Greatest mistake was when I bumped a 8 month old thread :p You must login or register to view this content. I thought NGU was good because it was a pretty small community. I didn't even know that there were mods or anything. Know I think that the community is great, I mean they helped us get to where we are today. Even the occasional trolls, its still a great place to browse around or go in the Shoutbox.

I came here way back in 2008. Main reason i joined up was because of glitching on cod4. I had seen people doing it in online games and decided to join in. A couple of the guys i used to mess around with thought i was on here, but when we chatted about it it turns out i wasn't and they told me to sign up. I miss just glitching on games, all this new age hacking just doesn't cut it for me.

This place is the most addictive website i've ever been on, no doubt. The people here make it what it is, and that is a brilliant community.

Came in July 2008 from google searches for glitch videos maddenking and others were doing on Cod4. It was a real small site and all about glitching and game tips. You didn't need to be a rocket scientist to participate and you almost never saw groans or neg rep and very little flaming.( it was more razzing )

There was a feeling that you stumbled in on some small secret society and they would let you watch, contribute what you could and even feel included in the society. Glitches just took a lot of private match time with friends and this was the place to share and learn.

In just 2 years the site is 65 times larger. Glitches are for dinosaurs, and you need to be a tech-no wiz to have a feeling that you have something most membership is really interested in. Half the glitch/hack section posts might as well be written in Greek for me.

It still has the secret society feeling, but there are a lot more people watching you now, and they are way smarter than me.

I kind of feel like a man, sitting on a park bench watching the kids play ball, some of the kids make fun and tease me and I laugh at the memories of that kind of fun. But every once in a while someone hits a foul ball in my direction and I get to through it back into the game and surprise them with my arm.

I too am addicted to the site.
It is fun watching it grow and evolve. The ebb and flow of membership activity, and the rise of new membership.
The number of dedicated volunteers that make it all work and the time they put into it.
You can't help but feel good being a part of something like this and hope that it continues to grow but keep the secret society feel to it.

I remember when I firs came to this place, i thought to myself, self this place will only last for a month due to leechers. But low and behold I was horribly wrong well except for the leeching part

I was a pure noob when I joined here 2 years ago . I didnt know jack Shit about forums and was going around double posting and makin useless threads. Then I had a fallout with admins and a few other Mods cos members on here where pissing me off so I went crazy and started posting spam threads and threads saying this site is shit (Its not) So I laid off NGU for while came back and everyone seemed to be cool again. I just stay out of the Shoutbox now cos I never get that much a say so I just mind my business

well, i joined the 1st day.. i think on my old/other/non used acc, i was member 118 so im one of the first 1000, i applied for mod in the past, but didnt get xD, this is a really fun and cool site, u guys taught me how to glitch hack etc.
