Let me give you some incite if we are cousins of primates they believe its okay that another male can go to another family and kill the kids and have sex with the wife. Then walk away like nothing happened. Um theres killing and cheating right there but just because we have a tiny bit of variation now its ok for us to say what is right or wrong.

Do some research and take your head out of atheism land bro

You are a prime example of the ignorance that religion implants into peoples brains.

Just because primates are common ancestors of ours, doesn't mean we act like them at all. They're monkeys, if they want to **** their best friends wife, so be it. Monkeys compared to us, are significantly less intelligent, they need to learn right from wrong, even when it is terribly obvious. We need to learn right from wrong as well, but when it is as painfully obvious as killing someone, no imaginary being put that idea into humans.

You have this unbelievably stupid mindset, you are choosing to believe that without God, we wouldn't know that killing someone is wrong. Are you serious? I said it in my previous post and I'm going to say it again, we don't need some higher power (and an imaginary one at that) to help us distinguish right from wrong.

Also, as I said before, people were on Earth 10,000 years ago. It is safe to assume that they had little to no morals because of how primitive they were, if God gives us morals, why wouldn't he give them morals as well. You're probably going to say something along the lines of I have no proof of primitive humans having minimal morals, and you'd be right, but with the evidence backing up the significant amount of intelligence we have over them and them being extremely primitive and 'uncivilized', they probably did not give the slightest **** about who they had sex with or who they killed.

Your head is clouded with ignorance, typical religious person.

that tiny little variation you mention happens to be a bigger brain then that of our chimp relatives. Second, I'm pretty sure as a species we've done the exact same thing to our own kind back in the primitive age, as well as throughout history, and that's with religion. Not to mention is god really moral himself for letting this shit happen,he has the power to stop it all but instead he just lets it go are on happening, its like giving a kid a knife and watching him stab his brother and friends while you just do nothing and watch. great morality there

I have had the displeasure of reading your replies in this section, and I have to say that you are EASILY the dumbest member on this board. Your replies are that of a 3 year old and don't contribute anything to the debate.

Also, you retard, the title says morality not mortality, dumbass.

God doesn't destroy evil because he can't, he doesn't exist.

I'm loving this iPython guy. Brutally honest, I like it.

Now to the matter at hand, making the religious feel silly. So in the bible, there is a section about how to sell your daughter... Sounds very moral. Especially as it supposedly came from God.

There is simply no answer to that. Anyone who even attempts to answer that will try to justify it. No doubt they will all justify it in their heads. Then, they'll claim that this is what their all knowing deity is thinking. Claiming to know what an all knowing being is thinking sounds pretty arrogant to me.

The Bible is full of contradictions most of which are against itself. If someone takes the time to analyze some biblical passages, it should be quite easy to see God contradicting his own teachings.

Arrogance seems to be a common trait that most religious people share (notice how I said most, not all) and that is the exact reason I log on here as many times as I do during the day, to prove the arrogant wrong.
