I just posted something about this in the GD, but I'll just C&P what I wrote there:

The universe is HUGE. Of course I believe in 'aliens'. Just not really in the tradition sense of what they're perceived as. I kind of 'want' to believe that aliens have visited earth and all, because I find that kind of stuff interesting with UFO sightings and Area 51 and the Bermuda Triangle and all, but I just don't for whatever reason.

I'm going to say this: I highly doubt we are the only intelligent life in this universe. Species probably more intelligent then ourselves. Sad part is, we may never know.

I can see this is another one of those "infinite" threads.. like is there a god?..
But anyways,i'll give my 2 cents..
To say we are the most civilized or most advanced beings in the universe would be like saying that the world is gonna kick the bucket(end) tomorrow.
So,I say it's pointless to even mention that as we have no idea what's out there in deep deep space.(lmao,i had to use 'deep' twice just to reiterate the continuity of space).
I mean,for all we know,there "could" be a more uber advanced race with technology so powerful it would make our Atom bombs look like an ants' fart.
For me,if i see it,i'll believe it.

i don't believe in aliens because if there would be aliens where would they be? if someone could prove to me that they r real then i maybe believe it nd if aliens do exist why didn't they find us yet? why couldn't we see any of them in space yet? even we sent some people to the moon so why didn't they do the same?
