Before I began let me state I don't believe in Buddha, Jesus, Osama bin laden or Donkey Kong.

I have no religion, never have, never will I like to see things before I believe. I respect religious people and there religions. I just had a thought for what happens when you die.

So when you die what happens?
Some people think you go to heaven, some think your born as an animal, some think you live an afterlife.

What I believe is that this life now is one of many we have experienced every time you die your born again as a different person maybe here on earth maybe on another planet.

Each time your born you think its your first life and your last.

Thats what makes life so great.We are only here once, or so it seems...

i believe the samething!

Eggfugginzacktly, I think when you die you lose your life as who you were and just become the life of a new person and forget all about you previous life. Weird how it works but that's what I think happens. I mean for example, half of us on here might have been killed in WW2 and don't even know that. Then we were reborn to do what we do now.

When life was in its infancy there were only a handful of simple cells. Where did all these souls come from? Where is the soul? What evidence is there that part of people lives on after death? If we can't remember our previous lives then what's the point?

Too bad your beliefs have no effect on objective reality.

I hope I turn into a pig, just saying.

Some of it is released as heat and some of it is consumed by decomposers and scavengers.

No offense but the idea is just as rediculous as the others. And like Elfmotat said, if you cant remember your past life then what's the point? I mean, i spose it gives people comfort of dying thinking of the possibility of an afterlife or whatever, but my view is, if you know when you die then that's it, finito, then it makes you keep perspective on life, what really matters to you counts, and just make it the best you can. If i thought there was some sort of afterlife, then why should i give a **** about this one? Ya know, why dont i just go on some mad shit not thinking of the consiquences for other people or my family and then go and kill myself when this life is no good to me anymore.

If you ask me, Religion is the root of all evil....
