(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am directing this thread towards all those who want to be promoted to moderator really badly.

This is what really happens if you become mod.

You have to be on nearly every day.
You have to act professional and mature.
You must have the ability to deal with tricky situations with little hastle
You have to answer all reported posts and deal with silly insignificant problems

Being a moderator does get you a little more respect yes. But it is very hard work and you need a lot of time and patience if you want to do it correctly.

So you can see the staff SB (usually dead)
You get access to the staff section.

But that's really it.

So for all the little kids on this forum who want to be a moderator simply for the colour and respect, wise up and stop acting like imature little brats that spat their dummy out.

Everyone wants to be a mod and it's normal, they will know how hard it is when they earn it.

I've been an admin and moderator on quite a few forums and yeah it's pretty tough, but I love helping out the community. Smile

I'm pretty sure not everybody, so it's abnormal. Off topic: Why do you always put your name after you post? We all know you've made the post... Not Happy or Sad

All the 12 year olds on this site want the power of a moderator, when it really takes responsibility, not a job for a 12 year old.

Cause people think it is cool to be a big shot on a website. Thats the reason people whant to be mods, But most people will tell you they just want to help the community, HA.

its alsmot as sad as people setting rep/post goals and saying rep me if I helped in my sig.

I completely agree (not with the rep part I don't mind rep, doesn't really mean anything)

People want the power and respect, that's it. They don't understand that being mod is extreamly difficult and tiring. But noooo.... when you turn purple or blue you can just come on whenever you want and go about your business and post your threads. Nothing is different at all... (kids need to grow up)
