President Mubarak has resigned and left Egypt, his son Gamal, has also quit. This is a shock to most people as he has been advised to stay until the next election.

The protesters will be happy that there work has been complete, but for all the injuries and deaths that have occurred they will feel some what Guilty.

News reporters have been forced into hiding in the past couple of days and film footage has been hard to get hold of, most CCTV cameras were disabled. But early this morning the stock market was re-opened along with banks.

The new secretary general of the party is Hossam Badrawi, seen as a member of the liberal wing of the party.

Will Egypt's journey uphill start now? We will just have to wait and find out.

RIP to all of the people who have died during the protests.

Well the option was ether have a stable country ran by a dictator or have a country ran under Islamic law many do not want that.
