The PS3 is stronger

The RSX Graphical Processing Unit has been clocked at 1.8TFLOPS, a very powerful figure. It features the Cell processor which has seven cores running at 3.2GHz. In comparison, the 360 has only three cores running at 3.2GHz, and its overall performance is clocked at 1TFLOP. The PS3's GPU tops an entire 360 by itself, without bringing in its processor.

[multipage=Cheaper]
The PS3 is cheaper

Yes, cheaper. For $300, you could get a 360 with 60GB disk space, or you could get a 80GB PS3 for $400, paying only $100 extra for all those things the 360 lacks: More powerful hardware, Bluray player, integrated WiFi, free online gaming, rechargeable gamepads (thus saving batteries), and media center capabilities. With its powerful hardware, the PS3 is much more future-proof than the 360, which still works on DVDs.

[multipage=Reliabe]

The PS3 is more reliable

The machine has an integrated AC adapter, the fans are perfectly silent, it has extremely rare hardware failure issues while the 360 fails over and over with the infamous Red Ring of Death issue, and many other heating issues.
[multipage=Games]
Concerning games

the PS3 has had many exclusive blockbusters. Little Big Planet, Resistance 1/2, KillZone 2, Heavenly Sword, Metal Gear Solid 4, Valkyria Chronicles, Uncharted, and many more. I do agree on the point that the 360 also has many great games, so I'll just say that it depends on which system you feel has games that you would personally enjoy playing more.
[multipage= Features]
The PS3 does more stuff

It also functions as a Bluray player, what with Bluray winning the HD format war, this fact has its importance rising with time, as BD slowly overpowers DVD as the leading format for movies (and games!). It works as a media center, allows you to share music and videos between your HDTV and your computer.
[multipage=Sales]
Sales

The PS3 has not sold as much as the 360, nor does it have as big a community or as many games as the 360, but that's only because it was released a while after the 360. In the last two years, the PS3 has sold more units than the 360 did in its first two years of release.

Worth the Weight
Why Ps3 graphics aren't as good as Xbox's.

Games such as Call Of Duty, will almost always have better graphics on the 360. This is because of the GPU's.

Xbox = Xenos w/ 48 unified pipelines
PS3= RSX w/ 24 pixel pipelines and 8 vertex pipelines

Also, since most games run in Sub HD resolutions, anti-aliasing is needed more, and Since the 360's GPU is split into 2, one having 10 eDRAM. Which allows it to push out 4x Anti-Aliasing without taking a hit to the frame rate.

However, the games that are exclusive to PS3 DO have better graphics, as they are built properly for the PS3's GPU, but since most game manufacturers won't bother with the extra work, the games that are on both consoles will almost always look better on 360.

Before you hate, I like Ps3 more, and I was disappointed to find this out as well, so don't think I sleep with my Xbox or anything, because I don't even have one.

Hey remember to add for the pro Xbox section that if you own a xbox you are protected from being involved in a company that promotes removing features, upgrading hard drives, and getting in a lawsuit over releasing keys to the public with said company.

Yea thats completely wrong. You must login or register to view this content. More like $250 for a 250 Gig Xbox from Gamestop, or I could buy this 160 gig PS3 for $300 You must login or register to view this content.

Bluray is hardly an extra feature compared to the fact the Xbox gets most map packs a month in advance than the PS3, or the great online servers.

Not entirely. Having an Xbox doesn't mean you aren't involved with Sony. Also, just because the company is messed up doesn't mean the console sucks.

360 has always been cheaper, that's it's main selling point. Not trying to be rude here, but there seem to be a lot more little kids on 360, because that's what their parents tend to get them, because the 360 is cheaper. Also, you get what you pay for. A console with a failure rate of 42% vs. a failure rate of 23%. A PS3 is half as likely to quit out as a 360 (I actually had a 360, it got E74).

Also, if you look back at the old 360, it cost about 200-250$, but if you wanted wireless, that was another 100-120$. Bringing the cost up to 300-370$ for a wireless console. Whereas a PS3 could be bought for 300-350$.

Those aren't comparable features... The 360's comparable feature to Blu-Ray would be HD-DVD... Which failed... And required a 100$ peripheral.

Blu-Ray is a huge feature. FFXIII for the 360 was 3 discs. FFXIII for the PS3 was 1 disc. Blu-Ray discs can hold up to 32gb, IIRC. The 360 uses discs that are about 8gb in size, 1/4th the size of the PS3's. They also allow for high quality movie viewing, which is pretty nice.

I have given both consoles a fair try, I had the 360 for about a year and a half to two years, and the PS3 for a year now. The 360 undoubtedly has a better online experience, but the PS3 makes up for it in terms of hardware.

I agree with most of your post, however, it just comes down to semantics. The PS3's graphics ARE better than the 360's, it's just that it's difficult to see that because the games that are made for both consoles are usually not coded correctly for PS3. The PS3 undoubtedly has better graphics. The fact that it is difficult to code for is it's real drawback.
