-Some people believe it was created Scientifically.

The world was created by a long process beginning with the collapse of a huge molecular cloud under the influence of gravity. Most of the mass collected to form the sun, with a disk of material (the protoplanetary disk) spread out around the newly formed star. Further "ordering" under gravimetric influence produced "centers of accretion" where enough material gathered to form the planets. All of these facts can be checked by using the link below and then following the many links there. Though there is no proof that God created the world, there is no proof that He did not do it, and by using this means to bring about His plan. You are completely free to see things as you wish, but you are strongly urged to think for yourself. The earth and the other planets exist, they all orbit the sun, and all move in the same direction. These facts fit the model of the formation of the earth. This is impossible to know for sure. The leading theory is the big bang which created the entire universe as we know it and provided the elements for the first stars. There was a giant star where the solar system is now. It exploded spreading material out through space. The material contained all the elements we find in our solar system today. After many millions of years the material started to come together again because of gravity. Most of the material came together in the middle to form our sun. The rest of material circled round the sun and came together through gravity and collisions to make the planets about 4.5 billion years ago. It took another few million years for the collisions to stop, one giant collision with the early Earth is thought to have created the moon. The Earth started off molten but began to cool and formed the crust. During the cooling most of the water and gases were released from inside to form the oceans and the atmosphere. After life evolved it changed the atmosphere and the surface to what we see now.

Created by God. The Earth and the whole universe was created by God. On the first day of creation he created light and darkness. On the second day he created water and sky. On the third day he separated the dry ground from the oceans and created all vegetation. On the forth day he created the sun, moon, and stars. On the fifth day he created all of the water dwelling creatures. On this day he also created all of the birds. On the sixth day he created all of the creatures of the land. It was on this day that he gave life to man. He called this man Adam. On the seventh day God rested.

There is similar thread in the debate section.

Not sure if this thread would fit in there. If not;
I believe God created the earth, i have no view on how he created it (via big band, etc..)

Just like he created everything else....

Religion is ****ed up now a days, now can 1 floating "Him" Really create the whole world that we know now a days..

And if he really is here, then Where was god on 9/11, London Bombings, LockerBie Bomber

Eh?

Nahh science created it, you have to give science that one...

Hence, Science has a reason for everything, and theres seems more believable than a guy with ultimate power...

Hence i got in detention cause i asked my RE teacher how do we know if god is a man??

She went balistic, ****ing homo.

definatly science. we all know that reactions cause things to happen, there is no sign or proof that "god" is even real or made the universe and planets. and science has proven allot of magnificent things out in space. i can agree of first learning if someone said that science caused humans, and that humans didn't look like how we look millions of years ago.

Well it has to be science related. Because god isnt real.

1.No matter how many times you go to church you wont be smarter, get taller, be stronger.

2.He cannot be touched and therefore could be like many other fairy tales handed down from generations, such as Santa Claus or the tooth fairy.

3.Believers in God point to his acts of kindness and love. If he is truly a loving, forgiving God, why do wars continue to be fought with enormous causalities and bloodshed?

4.If God is all powerful as stated in the Bible, Quran, Gita and other holy books, then why do earthquakes, tsunamis and tornados kill and maim thousands yearly? An all powerful being would surely be able to harness the earth that they created and allow its inhabitants to live without fear.

5.How does one explain who created God?

6.Diseases such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, and muscular dystrophy would not exist or at the least would be curable. If God created everything, why would he create these? Their presence supports the notion that God does not exist or is it that God is no more to help us?

7.God does not exist for if he did, his presence would provide relief to the suffering that occurs all over the world including animals who are sacrificed everyday to satisfy our overly hungry stomach.
