Post: HP Is A Bitch. Please Help.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay, so i was on youtube when all of a sudden my computer shuts off and then when i turn it back on, It says hard disk not found. And i cant start it now or do anything.

I spoke to Hp with live chat, and like an idiot, told them i dropped it and this happened. They said this would be covered if i had "Accidental damage insurance". I only have regular insurance. Do you think i could call again and tell them this happened out of the blue when i was on the internet? Or do you think this conversation was stored? It was through livechat online. Because then i'll be covered and wont have to spen 398 dollars
:(

Please help! Im willing to donate 20k VBUX for a quality answer.

If not just open up your computer and check if the hard drive disconnected if it actually "fell" , If it was a virus just restore like i said.

Theres no shortcut. I cant do a restore or anything in the menu because its saying i dont have a hard drive. And ive tried unplugging it and then plugging it back in, still no luck.

No but i always make my self sound sad and worried and the dude eventually told me whats the best choice to do instead of wasting my money on a new HDD or pay the repair.

It might just be a virus. Since the hrdrive is plugged in. I can get you a ISO of the cd but im not sure it will work since it says no hard drive,
You do know what i was saying by restore right because when you start your computer you will have the HP logo come up saying some options (F10 and others) which will always be there NO MATTER WHAT.
try what I said -.-

Hey man, thanks for the help. It turned out my harddrive connector wasnt plugged in /facepalm I thought it was though, because i opened my laptop several times and unplugged then replugged it, but the last time, i pushed it in hard (thats what he said) and then it finally worked. I was soooo happy! =D And wwith the system restore, i couldnt even do that b/c it didnt detect the hard drive.
Oh well, im good now =D
Moral of the story: Be smart, dont give up, and dont drop your latop :p

Thanks for offering the iso though, +rep Smile
