If it is for the does it really matter. Maybe someone who doesn't/ not allowed to use a paypal have an opportunity to get premium. And you don't have to rep him if he's doing a premium nomination. You can just nominate and go.

No i'm not crazy for anything, are you just mad nobody is nominating you!?, obviously mouth like that don't get nominated ever, even tho you got decent amount of rep and posts, you are perfect example is this when people don't have PayPal or money to buy premium. thats why there are premium nomination threads, and please next time don't post anything in these threads enough flaming.
